Design Strategy

As a public relations and advertising student, it is important for us to understand the basics of graphic design so we can understand the relationship between art and concepts. 

In design strategy, we witnessed how the principles of visual design can be employed strategically to support branding, marketing and public relations messaging, using the latest Adobe InDesign software to design a variety of materials for print and the Internet. 

Throughout the semester, I worked on a comprehensive rebranding for the Sundance Institute, most known famously for their annual Sundance Film Festival. As a fan of independent films and the growth of diverse storytelling, I had a great time working on my portfolio!
